On 4th July 2026, Entikko Safari Lodge was proud to be part of the AmCham Uganda Golf Open 2026 as a Premium Hole Sponsor. Set against the beautiful backdrop of Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort & Spa, the tournament brought together business leaders, golf enthusiasts, families, corporate partners, and members of Uganda’s vibrant business community for a day that celebrated far more than golf.
This year’s tournament was particularly special. As the United States marked Freedom 250, commemorating 250 years of American independence, the event became a celebration of the long-standing friendship between Uganda and the United States, bringing people together through sport, business, and shared values.
More Than Just a Golf Tournament
What makes the AmCham Uganda Golf Open unique isn’t only the competition, it’s the people.
With more than 73 golfers taking to the course, the tournament welcomed participants of every skill level. It is one of the few tournaments where professional golfers play alongside beginners, and adults share the fairways with children, creating an atmosphere where competition meets mentorship, learning, and fun.
Rather than focusing solely on winning, the day celebrated inclusion, community, and the relationships that golf has a unique way of building.

Bringing the Wild to the Fairway
Throughout the day, our team welcomed golfers and visitors to the Entikko Safari Lodge stand, where we shared the story of our lodge nestled inside Murchison Falls National Park.
Guests explored our brochures, learned about our safari experiences, scanned QR codes to discover more, and spoke with our team about what makes Entikko different.
The conversations went beyond accommodation.
We spoke about unforgettable game drives, peaceful evenings under African skies, boat cruises along the Nile, family getaways, romantic escapes, and the simple luxury of reconnecting with nature.
For many visitors, it wasn’t just their first introduction to Entikko Safari Lodge, it was the beginning of a future adventure.
A Prize Worth Remembering
As the tournament came to a close, excitement shifted from the course to the awards ceremony.
Entikko Safari Lodge proudly presented one lucky winner with a 3 Days, 2 Nights complimentary safari stay, inviting them to exchange the fairway for Uganda’s untamed wilderness.
While trophies eventually find their place on shelves, experiences have a way of staying with us.
Soon, one golfer will trade perfectly manicured greens for golden savannahs, morning tee times for sunrise game drives, and applause from the crowd for the distant call of fish eagles over the Nile.
It was a privilege to be part of that moment.

Beyond the golf itself, this year’s tournament carried additional significance as part of the Freedom 250 celebrations.
The event reflected the strong partnerships between Uganda and the United States while showcasing the power of sport to bring together people from different industries, backgrounds, and generations.
